Mill Hockey Team

Mill hockey team at Christmas '09, Moyie B.C. Men dressed in costumes playing hockey. A quote from the Moyie Leader of January 01, 1910: "All of 200 people gathered at the rink Christmas day to see the burlesque hockey game between the mine and the mill teams.... The makeups of the players were clever. Some accidents happened, but the injured were soon revived when 'Dr.' Sam Worthington would sally forth with his medicine case and apply restoratives...."
