ROTARY DELEGATE PRESENTS REPORT – W.H. Wilson Tells of Rotary’s Silver Anniversary, Held In Chicago.

            W. H. Wilson, who represented the Cranbrook Rotary club at the silver anniversary held in Chicago, concluded his report to the local club Tuesday, bringing back a very comprehensive report of the largest attended convention in the history of Rotary, with over eighteen thousand delegates registered.  Mr. Wilson attended all the convention sessions, including the club president’s breakfast, which was attended by over four hundred presidents, scattered throughout various parts of the world.  Forty-four nations were represented at the conference.

A feature of the convention was an address by Paul Harris, founder of Rotary.  Although a very sick man, under the care of a physician for the past fifteen years, he was assisted to the microphone, delivering a fifteen-minute address.
