ACTION OF THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IN REGARD TO THE BIG BEND. –

            At a meeting of a committee appointed by the Chamber of Commerce, held yesterday, a resolution was passed unanimously that the Chairman should confer with the British Columbian authorities, and offer to co-operate with them in diffusing information in California and Oregon respecting the Big Bend mines, and the route to them.  A subscription list under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce, and which they have headed with $100 is to be placed on the counters of the different Banks in the city, and the committee will solicit subscriptions from the public as well.
