            Many people have asked the Herald to publish the prices of different articles of food in Cranbrook, and this is done to comply with the various requests made:

            Butter, dairy, 32c lb.

            Butter, creamery, bricks, 40c lb.

            Cheese, 20c lb.

            Cabbage, 2c lb.

            Turnips, 1 ½ c lb.

            Beets, 2c lb.

            Carrots, 2c lb.

            Potatoes, $1.75 per cwt.

            Apples, $2.25 per box

            Onions, 1-6c lb.

            Spanish Onions, 3 lbs. for 25c

            Eggs, fresh, 75c

            Eggs, Ontario, 35c.
