Description:
CPR locomotive #4053. Joe Smuin has offered the following: The Kettle Valley Express was abolished by the time this photo was taken. The consist shown in this image shows the equipment assigned to what had been the Kettle Valley Express run. This equipment ran from the end of October until about March 1958 when the Budd Cars finally showed up in regular service. Although consists such as this one were run once or twice after the arrivals of the Budds, this photo most likely predates March 1958.
