Developments and fraud.

Capt. Whitmore of the steamer Lytton, has been honoured by having an avenue in Brooklyn named for the very popular captain.

            P. Burns will erect a butcher shop here immediately.  His beef will be landed at Brooklyn and driven down to the several camps and slaughtered.  Brooklyn is the head of all great enterprises.

The beach is piled high with two-wheeled carts and scrapers for the construction work.  The horses are pastured across the lake in Deer Park.  There are several hundred and more expected.
