NEW CAR ARRIVES FOR HIGHWAY PATROL –
The East Kootenay branch of Provincial police yesterday took delivery of a new car for highway patrol work in the district, this replacing a highway patrol car that has been in service for some time. The new car is a product of the Ford factory, and is provided with the latest equipment for brake and light testing, and has all necessary appliances for first aid work, such as stretcher, blankets and other paraphernalia needed to handle cases of injury through accident. The car will be in charge of Highway Patrolman F. Slater, who is well conversant with this branch of police work.
