FOR ELECTRIC LIGHTS.
The electric lighting proposition of Alexander and Retallack is to be reopened, if those gentlemen will consent to it, and brought before the council again, this time presented by disinterested parties, business men who want electric lights, and accompanying it will be a petition now being circulated, from business men, tax payers and citizens generally asking the council to present a by-law embodying the proposal of Alexander & Retallack.
