DIRT WILL FLY. – Work On the Reservoir for the Water System Begins Next Week.
The first pick will swing on Kaslo’s new water system one week from today (next Saturday) when Engineer Cummings announces work will begin on the reservoir. He has a notice in this issue of the KOOTENAIAN calling for tenders on the excavating and roof. The concrete lining will be done by day’s work. As soon as the material contract shall have been let, work on the conduit line will be commenced. Mr. Cummings will improve every minute of the time from this on and expects to complete the system by January 1.
