CONCRETE WALLS SET FOR WORDEN GARAGE. – Construction Work On Building Will Go Ahead With As Little Delay As Possible.
The mixing and pouring of cement for the foundation of W.E. Worden’s new garage and storage basement is completed, and the construction work of the walls with concrete blocks will be proceeded with at once. The making of these blocks has been going on for some weeks, and already over 2500 have been molded and piled up on the lot across the street ready for use. The building will have a frontage of fifty feet on
Particular attention has been paid to the basement, which will provide a frost proof storage room for Mr. Worden’s extensive business. An incline driveway is being provided which will admit of a truck being taken down into the basement for loading or unloading. The floor of the main building will be constructed of heavy timbers, thus providing an extra substantial foundation for many large trucks used by the firm.
