The Crow’s Nest Pass Lumber Company have construction on their new sawmill near Skookumchuck well under way. The mill equipment and a 100 horse power Diesel engine are being shipped from the east and will be set up shortly. The company will employ fifty men and for the first season’s cut will run 15,000,000 feet, which will be increased as building operations in the east progress.
