Legacy of Learning celebrates school memories

School District No. 5 and the Columbia Basin Institute of Regional History partnered six years ago to create ‘The Legacy of Learning Project’.

The project has given the community opportunity to enjoy a collection of yearbooks documenting the history of Columbia Basin graduates.

The collection continues to grow, and we have a display of selections from Kimberley, Cranbrook, Waldo, Fernie, Elkford, and Sparwood schools available for viewing on our site.

As this delightful visual celebration of students and schools from the area emerges, the Institute looks forward to publishing new yearbooks with community donations. Thank you for helping us bring back school day memories to be enjoyed by everyone.
