Lost Dawg Singers
Lost Dawg Singers at the Elks Club in Kimberley. Photo includes George Williams, George Zinovich, Linda Troy, Dave McArthy, Frank Goodwin, Lyn Wagner; Front row-Pat McArthy, Sandy Roberts. Florida Town added: My husband Hugh Town and I were among the founders of the Lost Dawg Singers. Originally they were called the Lost Dog, Tata Creek and Lois Lake singers, but ther name was soon abbreviated to Lost Dawgs. Hugh played the banjo and I played the guitar. Harold Enquist was another of the original group as were Ruth Forrester and Ann Ederer. Bill Booth (president of the Mine, Mill and Smelter Workers union) played a mean guitar and had all the blues and R&B licks - along with a pretty great singing voice. Another of the original singers was Mona Sykes - who also had a beautiful voice.
