Unique early view of Norbury Avenue (10th Ave) in Cranbrook, looking south from the intersection with Baker Street. On the left is the Hanson Block, followed by the Canadian Hotel and the spire of City Hall midway down the block. On the right is the corner of the large Federal Post Office building, followed by the Palm Confectionery and then the Auditorium (Armond Theatre). Further down the block can be seen the spire of the first Catholic Church building.

Fort Steele Stage On Parade

This replica stagecoach was sup0plied to Fort Steele by Victoria. It served as transportation around Fort Steele for several years until Fort Steele built a "people wagon," at which point this fibreglass stagecoach was sent to Barkerville. The parqade is believed to be at Cranbrook.

The "bigtop" set up on Joseph Prairie at Cranbrook, B.C. There is some feeling that it may be the Lizard Range visible in the background (which would make this Fernie). Note the various circus wagons distributed around. Dan Melody adds: Marked incorrectly as Cranbrook, but this is Fernie, just North of town, looking SW towards the Mountains.
