A parade float in Cranbrook advertising the East Kootenay Lumber Company. Malcolm Horie has added: The man driving the float was Malcolm Peter Horie, my grandfather. He lived on 4th Avenue and came to Cranbrook with the railroad. He worked as a surveyor and helped to survey Cranbrook. He had an irrigation district named after him.
