Elliot Orville Peever

RCMP member Elliot Orville "Charlie" Peever, at the police barracks, Red Pass. He was transferred to Invermere to head the detachment there 1957-1960. Then Mr. Peever was moved to Nelson on the General Investigations D Squad. He escorted the Queen in 1967 and ended his career as a Staff Sergeant. Died by his own hand in Chilliwack in 1970 or 1971.

Red Pass Junction B and B Men

Red Pass Junction B and B men - L to R: Fred Parsons, ,Stan Williams, Joe Brookes. Stan Williams married Lionel Deforge's sister. He was married one month then was killed in a tunnel collapse. The inquiry stated he was sent into the tunnel too quickly after blasting.

Twin Engine Float Plane

Float plane - twin engine Dropping in to refuel at Moose Lake, Red Pass, BC. This is a very interesting picture, twin engine, twin tail, biplane with a flying boat hull. It has a RCAF ensignia on starboard lower wing. The steam/smoke in background appears to becoming from a steam locomotive. Looking at the narrow channel, sandy beach and proximity to train track the location seems to be upstream of the Red Pass community near the graveyard. It does look like smoke on the mountain at the upper starboard wingtip.
