Central Hotel

Built in 1898 on the northwest corner of Queens and Victoria streets in Moyie, the Central Hotel was destroyed by fire in 1931. Owned and operated by Victor Desaulniers.

Mary & Victor Desaulniers

Mary & Victor with children Victor, Alma, Louis, Emilie, and Wilfred. The house on the left was their home later. Does anyone know the family name? Trish replied: Their family name was Desaulniers. Marie was born Boissineau. They owned the Central Hotel in Moyie until it burned down in (1928). Not sure of the year. But Victor died and is buried in Moyie's cemetery. They ended up having 11 children altogether, of which my grandmother Esthere was the youngest.
