Pacific 4-6-2, Class G2f - "Silk Train" MILLION DOLLAR CARGO C.P.R.'s Silk Train, motive power supplied by Pacific 4-6-2 locomotive 2631, class G2f, charging eastbound through Morley, Alberta with whistle blowing and bell ringing in early May, 1928. There are 15 specially built through baggage cars each loaded with 470 bales of raw silk, valued at $733,333.00 per car, heading for New York demanding green light precedence over all manifest and passenger trains ahead of her.
