Description:
Moose drawn wagon at Athabasca Landing in 1898. Owner of team was Peachy Prouden who raised the moose himself. The picture was a prized possession of Alex Wylie who was freighting into Athabasca Landing at that time. Alex also freighted in supplies for the Grand Trunk Railway at Tete Jaune. Mr. Wylie was born Aug 23, 1882 and died in Jasper May 21, 1981.
