British Railways. Western Region. This train is being hauled by the 2,500-h.p. Brown-Boveri Gas Turbine Locomotive. The turbine drives a generator which supplies current to four motors. Overall length is 63 ft., weight 115 tons, top speed 90 m.p.h.
