Buchanan's Sawmill

A BUSY MILL.

            500,000 feet of logs arrived from the mouth of Kootenay river yesterday for G.O. Buchanan’s mill.  They were towed up by the Red Star, and were four days in making the run.  A million feet will arrive in a few days from the Lardo, thus giving the mill 1,500,000, or about three months supply.  This mill has already consumed 400,000 feet this spring, the product being sold as fast as the saws turned it out.  The value of the logs now on hand is about $7,500.
