CRANBROOK GYRO CLUB NEWS AND NOTES – Welcome Governor and Lieutenant-Governor – Annual Ball – “Aunt Lucia” Committees Named.

            Tuesday evening was a red-letter day with Cranbrook Gyro club members, when they heartily welcomed a visit of District Governor Bob Crerar and Lieutenant-Governor Dr. Fergie, who were elected to the important offices at the recent Calgary convention.  Congratulations were extended on behalf of the officers and members.  A report of the Calgary convention appears elsewhere in this issue.

            Les Crawshaw of Calgary, a former Cranbrook member, was a visitor at Tuesday’s meeting and extended the right hand of fellowship.

            Committees were named for the production of “Aunt Lucia,” which will be staged here October 9^th, 10^th and 11^th.  Bert Sang was named chairman.

            The annual Gyro ball will take place in the Cranbrook Auditorium on Friday, October 24^th.
