SWIMMING POOL IN BAKER PARK PRACTICALLY CERTAIN – Gyros Behind Scheme To Tune of $5,000 – Pool Will Add To Beauty of Grounds.

That the Gyro Club is serious in its intention to donate $5,000 to construction of a swimming pool in Baker Park is obvious.  Authentic report has it that the club is practically ready to place its proposition, mooted some time ago, before the city council.  The pool will be an ambitious affair with provision for a shallow fenced-off end for small children, deeper water for experienced swimmers and a sandy bathing beach.  With the pool in immediate proximity to the tourist park, erection of cabins there and other improvements the local camping ground will be on a par with the best in the west.
