The newly organized band will be in attendance to supply the music, Rev. Dr. Crummy of

Blue print plans for the accommodation of the various groups to be seated within the enclosure have been prepared and will be posted up in the City Hall and Post Office so that the public may become familiar with the arrangements for the day in that regard. Seating accommodation will be secured for the general public as well, so that few people may be compelled to stand.
All returned men who can muster uniforms are kindly requested to send in their names to Comrade Geo. Childs at the G.W.V.A. before Friday, the 7th, as it is the wish to have as many as possible in uniform to form a guard of honor for the unveiling.
The memorial service in the evening, and in which all the churches of the city will unite, is to be held in the Auditorium, the Odd Fellows kindly donating the use of their hall for the occasion. The cancelling of all church services that evening also has been kindly volunteered, and accordingly all the pastors will be on the platform. The choirs of the various congregations will be massed on the stage, and the Cranbrook Musical Society’s Orchestra will be present in full strength. Rev. MacKay will be the presiding pastor, and the other clergymen will also have a part in the services. Dr. Crummy will again deliver the sole address. Services will commence at 7:30 p.m.
Every returned man in the city on that Sunday, irrespective of the fact that he is, or is not, a member of the Association, is asked to be at the G.W.V.A. building at 7 o’clock. This is a memorial service, and everyone capable of being present is requested to be at the Club building at the above time, from where the men will proceed to the Auditorium. Civies will be worn but anyone wishing to appear in uniform is quite at liberty to do so. Let every returned man that can do so attend this evening service, the first united memorial service to be held in the city.
It is hoped that the 9th of April, 1922, will long remain an historic one in the history of
