DAVID LOGAN KILLED AT FRONT

David Logan, formerly constable at Wardner, was killed in action on February 28th.  Mr. Logan joined at Fernie and with a member of the Princess Pats regiment.  Mr. Logan was well known in this city, being a frequent visitor here on many occasions.  The people of Wardner sincerely sympathize with his aged father, who resides at Maple Creek, Sask.

Constable Collins today received a letter from David Logan, the member of the Cranbrook contingent who was killed in action on February 28th, two days after the letter was written.  In the letter he stated that he expected to be back in Canada this summer.  Another paragraph says: “Still sniping, had a few good shots at the Germans at short range.”
