FORMER CRANBROOK MAN DIES, ALBERTA. – Bert Manning, Who Passed Away at Minburn, Worked In District Years Ago.

            Announcement is received of the death of Bert Manning, who passed away at his home at Minburn, Alberta, last week.  Word to that effect came to Mr. and Mrs. R.A. McBurney, of this city, old friends of the Manning family.  Burial took place last Sunday at Three Hills, Alberta.  Deceased was about 55 years of age, and leaves besides his widow, three sons and a daughter.

            Prior to moving to Alberta Mr. Manning and his family spent several years in and around Cranbrook.  At one time he had charge of a sawmill at Bull River, and also worked for a time for the B.C. Spruce Mills at Lumberton.
