Reminiscing about the progress of the school in Cranbrook, from working out of a building to present school location.

LIBERAL ORGANIZATION. – One Was Formed for the Cranbrook District Tuesday Evening. –

A Central Liberal Organization for the Cranbrook district was formed on Tuesday evening in this city, and a resolution adopted in favour of provincial elections being held on Dominion party lines.

The different towns in the district were represented by the following delegates:

Fort Steele – Messrs. Watt, Grassick and Stewart.

Cranbrook – Messrs. J.H. King, Robinson, Moffatt, Horie and Brault.

Moyie – W.L. Reid.

Marysville – Messrs. Laurie and Borden.

Kimberley – Messrs. White and Archibald.

The convention was held in Leask’s hall and Dr. Watt of Fort Steele was elected chairman.

After the transaction of routine business officers were elected as follows:

Honorary President – Hon. Wilfred Laurier.

President – W.L. Reid..

Vice-Presidents – Presidents of local associations.

Secretary-Treasurer – A. Moffatt.

Executive Committee – J.W. Robinson, J. Brault, M. Horie, Cranbrook; Fort Steele, Dr. Watt and J. Grassick; Marysville, A.L. Borden; Kimberley, A. Archibald; Moyie, A. Clarke.
