Aldridge Church Camp

BOYS GOING INTO CAMP AT ALDRIDGE – Outing Will Be Conducted Under Auspices Of Religious Educational Council.

            The Religious Educational Council of the Presbyterian and Baptist Churches is sponsoring a boys summer camp which is to be located on Aldridge Flats, immediately south of Moyie Lake.  The date of the opening of the camp is set for July 2^nd and two weeks will be spent on the ground, the Rev. M.S. Blackburn has announced.  Aldridge Flats is a location eminently suited to the purpose of a boy’s camp, good fishing, boating and bathing being enumerated among its attractions, together with a very fair baseball field.  A girls’ camp, sponsored by all the Protestant Churches of the city, will be established at Aldridge about the middle of July and will probably be supervised by Miss Annie Fountain, well known social worker whose especial interest is the training of girls.  Both camps will partake to some extent of the nature of summer schools, it is understood.
