FORT STEELE

            Mr. and Mrs. R.J. Bleumenauer and family, of the K.C.R. depot, returned to the village Thursday from a three weeks’ motor trip.  During their holiday they toured to Spokane, Seattle and Vancouver.

            Mrs. J.W. Crookes, Miss Crookes and Mrs. P. McLeish motored to Bull River Thursday and were the guests of Mrs. W. Douglas.

            Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bleumenauer, Gilbert R.J. Bleumenauer and family, Mr. and Mrs. A. Nicol and family, spent Sunday at Wasa Lake.

            Jack Garbutt, the popular rancher from Fish Lakes, motored into town Monday on his way to Cranbrook.

            Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Knight motored to Lethbridge over the weekend, returning to town Tuesday evening.

            Harry Chamings came down from Kimberley Monday to visit with his mother at the ranch.
