A CITY OF
Even during the winter months
On the other side of the track, just past the school buildings, Mr. Chalmer, purchasing agent for the General Trunk Pacific railway, is just finishing a very neat bungalow and next door J. Brechen has just built a cottage. On the south side of the railway in the direction of the electric light power house, several new houses have gone up. Conductor Shackleton has built two exceedingly neat cottages. S. Baldwin has built a very roomy and handsome residence and also a cottage. R. Sallal and J. Sims have each built homes in this district. George Leask’s handsome home on Edwards street is nearing completion and will be amongst the finest dwellings in the city.
