First Beer

A BEER THAT PLEASES. –

                It is seldom that a new brewery starts off with the success that has marked the opening of the Cranbrook brewery.  The management were determined from the inception of the enterprise to give to the people of this district a first class quality of beer, and if they could not do that at first, they did not propose to put a pint of their product on the market until it was all right.  Under the careful supervision of Mr. Geiller, the brewer, the first brew proved to be an exceptional quality of beer, so good in fact that it won praise from all people who indulge in the beverage.  Mr. Van Decar, who is acting as managing director of the company, stated at the beginning that the prime object of the company was to give the public a first-class article, and that none other would be turned out if the brewery did not make a sale for six months after the first brew was ready.  But that brew was of prime quality, and this fact is demonstrated by the opinion of the people, who have with one accord declared that the Cranbrook beer was the best.  The Verdict of the people is what decided whether any product is a success or a failure.  That point is settled with the Cranbrook brewery, but yet the management will spare no expense or energy to improve the quality of the beer and make it still better as brew follows brew.  The brewery is an East Kootenay institution, backed up by Cranbrook capital, and it is bound to be a great success.  That is what a first-class product insures to any institution.
