Miss Irene Ledgette, the fashion plate of the circus, works in the centre ring; Miss Effie Rairdon works at one end of the big tent and Miss Balley, a black-eyed beauty, a dainty little lady of unusual charm, works four massive elephants at the other end of the tent.
