WATER NOTICE (Use and Storage) [ad]
TAKE NOTICE that Baker Lumber Co., whose address is Waldo, B.C., will apply for a license to take and use eight cubic feet per second and to store ten acre feet of water out of Plumbob Creek, which flows easterly and drains into the Kootenay River. The storage dam will be located about south west corner of lot 616791. The capacity of the reservoir to be created is about ten acre feet, and it will flood about five acres of land. The water will be diverted from the stream at a point about the south west corner of lot 616791, and will be used for fluming logs. This notice was posted on the ground on the 4th day of October, 1917. A copy of this notice and an application pursuant thereto and to the “Water Act, 1914,” will be filed in the office of the Water Recorder at
Baker Lumber Co, Applicant.
