J. McKenzie, the tie contractor, is “under the weather” with the prevailing complaint, and has been quite ill for several days.
Frank Saulsby,a teamster employed in J. McKenzie’s tie camp, just west of town, was painfully injured by getting tangled up in a picket rope and dragged and kicked by a mule, yesterday. He was taken to the hospital in the ambulance. Passing through here he was examined by Dr. Brodie, who was of the opinion that no serious injuries had been inflicted.
