Comings and goings of Cranbrook residents and visitors.

LATE LOCALS

Constable Cole was a visitor to Fort Steele yesterday morning, securing jail supplies.

P.H. Kelly, of Wardner, is a visitor in Cranbrook.  He says the railroad will be across the river Saturday without fail.

The Royal Café building has been leased to parties from Fort Steele, and will be enlarged to about double its present size.

            J. McKenzie, the tie contractor, is “under the weather” with the prevailing complaint, and has been quite ill for several days.

Frank Saulsby,a teamster employed in J. McKenzie’s tie camp, just west of town, was painfully injured by getting tangled up in a picket rope and dragged and kicked by a mule, yesterday.  He was taken to the hospital in the ambulance.  Passing through here he was examined by Dr. Brodie, who was of the opinion that no serious injuries had been inflicted.
