Description:
Construction beginning on the Banff Windermere Highway in Kootenay National Park, 1912. From the Golden Star, July 15, 1911 - "Minister Authorizes Prosecution of Survey - Hon. Thomas Taylor says that a Banff-Windermere Road will be completed this season. Sixty miles of highway construction developing."
