FORT STEELE (From Our Own Correspondent)
The dance under the auspices of the social club, was a big success.
Quite early in the evening cars began to arrive from outside points, many
young people making a very jolly evening. The crowd was a very sociable
one and everyone had an enjoyable time. Supper was served by the committee
in charge and was all that could be desired. Sly's orchestra played for
the dancing. Among those from out of town could be seen Misses West,
Johnson, Barr, Messrs. West brothers, Millar brothers, G. Barr, P.
Matheson, T. Sowerby, of Wasa; Moore brothers of Wardner; G. Mulberry, H.
Duhamel, S. Belanger of Camp 8; Mr. and Mrs. G. Jewell, Mres. Cooper and
daughter, Messrs. J. Rajala, B. Barton, H. Chamings of Wycliffe; J. and R.
Fulton and party of Kimberley; Messrs. E. Hogarth, S. Black, R. Sang, D.
Deane, G. Blumenauer, Misses I. Slye, G. Slye, E. Atchison, I. Ward of
Cranbrook and A. Young of Yahk.

Mr. A.B. Fenwick and Al. Doyle motored to the Wolf Creek ranch on
Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. E. Cretney and family motored to Bull River on Sunday
and were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. Thrasher.

Mr. and Mrs. H. Barnett, Miss Letts and Charlie Letts motored to
Cranbrook to the movies on Thursday.
