Earth Day Canada 2021 has commenced, and Canadians are taking action across the country and with citizens worldwide to promote environmental conservatism and stewardship of the planet.

Mount Baker Secondary School students are no strangers to environmental activism, having embarked on a group clean-up back in April 1990 to celebrate an Earth Day of old.

As the tradition carries on, the Columbia Basin Institute of Regional History continues its mission to preserve human and natural history, celebrating environmental conservation efforts year-round.
