0215.0005: Cranbrook Post Office & Hanson Block

The Federal Post Office with Clock Tower, the clock face and inner workings were moved to Fort Steele after the demolition of Post Office. In 1982 when the Rotary Clock Tower was built the clock face and inner workings were incorporated into it. The other large building is the Hanson Block, built by Nils Hanson from local brick. The two buildings were located on Baker Street, on either side of Norbury Avenue.
