Uncle Simmons Taylors House 240 Norbury Ave.(10th Ave.) South Cranbrook B.C. Aunt Mimma, Merle, Hasil, Uncle Simon, and Mable c.1912. Across from 10th Ave. School Note the wheelchair ramp. Simon Taylor was a successful lumberman in the area. The Taylors had 3 daughters: Merle, Hazel and Mable Victoria. Merle died of Pulmonary Tuberculosis on the 20th of May 1915 in Vancouver, Mable Victoria died in Vancouver on the 6th of Jan, 1932 of septicaemia (from an ulcer on her back-she was born with spina bifida) and Hazel married Roy Shields and died in White Rock in 1975. Jemima (wife of Simon) died 4 Feb 1969 in New Westminster.
