ROTARIANS CUP ARRIVES CRANBROOK - Presented to Club by Vice-President
Jacobson at Tuesday's Luncheon
The attendance cup won by the Cranbrook Rotary club at the district
conference at Victoria last week, was presented to the club by Vice-
President Jacobson at Tuesday's luncheon.
Reports of those attending the conference were received from
President-Elect Scott, who reported for the round table conference of
presidents; Henry Wilson, for boys work and kindred subjects, and Jake
Jacobson for classification. Next week President Graham and Secretary
Marsh will report.
The committee in charge of the playground, headed by Harry McKowan,
reported that the program was prepared and all arrangements made with the
schools to have the children assemble at the grounds for the opening day.
Rotarian Jim Brodie, of Nelson, recorded his attendance.
