Burns And Co.: 0054.0374

A BRIGHT OUTLOOK.

In talking with many people from town and surroundings, they seem to consider the near future of this place to be very bright.  They reason thus, that though there is very little money in circulation as wages paid are comparatively poor, and many men out of work, yet they manage to get along, being that they have the working man’s friend J.M. Burns & Co., with their select stock, among them, as a very little money goes a long way in that store, and with that store just commencing to build a very large and commodious store, 40x50 feet, where they will keep a larger assortment than ever.  Everyone seems satisfied that he will be able to lay up a little money, as long as he deals at J.M. Burns & Co.’s store, if he gets any work at all.
