Mining News And Sanca: 0054.0103

ORE COMING OUT. - Storm King, on White Grouse Mountain, Begins Packing. - - Sanca Items.

            One of the foremen for the Copper King M. & S. Co. sent word to Manager Ramsdell to send on all the horses he could rustle and he would load them with ore.

            Ore is being sacked at the Storm King and other claims of the company for immediate shipment and the first pack train load is expected in Sanca this (Thursday) date.

********

            W.J. Manson has his store building finished and is receiving a well selected stock of goods at Sanca.

********

            Mrs. Emma Turner, of Kaslo, and Kurtz & McKean, of Balfour, are opened up with their hotels temporarily and their buildings will be completed soon.

********

            About 200 people get their mail at Sanca.  Although the post office is not established, a locked mail bag goes between Pilot Bay and the new town daily.
