0131.0147: Silversmith Mine

We had this identified as the Silversmith mine, Sandon B.C., but a knowledgeable user of the site has said this is the Rambler-Cariboo mine, located in the McGuigan Creek basin east of Sandon. It was a major producer in the Slocan silver rush, producing continuously from 1895 to 1935, then periodically until 1951.
