0513.0007: Motorcycle Jockey

Art Wilconson was a long time area resident who immigrated from Yorkshire, Eng. He worked for Cominco, farmed several acreages near Twin Lakes, logged from Yahk thru Moyie, Lumberton, Cranbrook & Kimberley and worked in the relief camp building the Yahk airport. What kind of bike is he riding? anyone know?? Aaron Toma replied: This is a Harley Davidson JD model. Since the picture is circa 1925 I would estimate the bike is probably fairly new, 1924 04 1925 model.
