Glacier Park Connector: 0050.0909

82 MILES OF TRAIL HAVE BEEN GRAVELLED

By next year it will be possible to travel all the way from Edmonton to the Glacier National park in Montana by gravel road if the plans under way by Hon. Alex Ross, provincial minister of public works, are carried through.

Montana has already built a gravel road from the park to the international border.  The Alberta government has completed 82 miles of gravelling on the Edmonton-Calgary trail this year and sections from Calgary to Cardston have either been built or are under construction.
