CREIGHTON SELLS TO KING

A change in the proprietorship of T.A. Creighton’s store took place yesterday, when Mr. Creighton disposed of his interests to Malcolm B. King, brother of Dr. J.H. King, and a recent arrival from the east.  Mr. Creighton was one of the first business men to locate in Cranbrook and The Herald is glad to know that he has been very successful.  He will leave in about two weeks with Mrs. Creighton for Pennsylvania and Virginia, his old home, and later go to Cuba, where he has acquired large land interests.  It is his intention to plant an orange grove in that land of soft breezes and eternal sunshine, and then take life easy for the next few years.  Mr. Creighton and wife have earned the good time they will enjoy, and The Herald wishes them every happiness and prosperity.

Mr. King, who succeeds Mr. Creighton, has been a resident of Cranbrook only a short time, yet he has made a host of friends and will make a big success in his new departure.
