ASK WORKMEN TO CONSERVE RESOURCES. –

            D. Philpot, city superintendent, has issued a notice of warning to workers under the relief scheme in Cranbrook.  He points out that funds available for this work are limited and are being expended at a much greater rate than can be carried on all winter.  During the usual sub-zero weather of mid-winter outside work cannot be carried on, and men must be prepared for a lay-off of indefinite length during that period and should conserve their resources accordingly.
