PROVINCIAL NOTES. –

            Because Doukhobors are accountable for substantially half of the volume of debts owing at the Kootenay Lake General hospital at Nelson, the hospital board adopted a resolution ordaining that in future no Doukhobor will be admitted to the institution without payment in advance.

0050.0629: Hospital Bills Owing

Due to half the debt owing to Kootenay Lake hospital in Nelson belonging to Doukhobors, only payment in advance will be accepted prior to their admittance.
