            His Honor Judge Thompson returned on Sunday from Fernie, where he has been hearing appeals under the Military Service Act.  Further appeals will be heard in Cranbrook on January 4th, after which Judge Thompson will proceed to Creston, Nelson and other points in West Kootenay where sittings of the Appeal Court will take place.
