Richardson Wounded: 0050.0397

LIEUT. RICHARDSON HAS BEEN WOUNDED – Official Notification Is Received from Ottawa by Mrs. J.T. McKenzie.

            Mrs. J.T. McKenzie has been officially notified from Ottawa that her son-in-law Lieut. C.E. Richardson of the Canadian Engineers and formerly civil engineer in the government service here, has been wounded.  He has been in France three months.

            No details are forthcoming yet as to the nature of Lieut. Richardson’s injuries.  His wife, nee Miss Jean McKenzie, is in Edinburgh, Scotland – Nelson news.

            Lieut. Richardson will be remembered by many here as Officer Commanding “B” Company, 225th Battalion, while in training at Cranbrook.
